Project description
The VISES project is a four-year project that brings together 21 partners to highlight the impact of social and solidarity-based enterprises on the well-being of their target group, their environment, and society.
To this end, they are designing, testing, and disseminating a methodology to increase the social impact of social entrepreneurship. The process consists of the following three phases:
Phase 1: Design
Researchers, representatives of federations of the social and solidarity economy, and social enterprises are working together to develop an approach for identifying, analyzing, measuring, and valuing social impact.
Phase 2: Testing
This approach will then be tested within the broader network of social enterprises over a two-year period. During this support phase, the partners and pilot projects will consult regularly to refine the approach.
Phase 3: Spread
After this experiment, the partners will offer training and short coaching sessions to other companies to spread the approach.
The VISES project aims to establish a cross-border applied research effort to support social enterprises in identifying their social impact.
