Measuring is knowing
A sustainable world where everyone can realize their potential. We're not there yet, but many people, organizations, and businesses are working hard to achieve it. To maximize their chances of success, we must make the changes being implemented visible. If impact is your goal, evaluation is your compass. Why would you sail the rough seas of our complex world without a compass?
Driven by impact
After a career as an astronomer, Eva transitioned to practice-oriented research on impact evaluation in complex contexts in 2016. She also worked part-time for five years at the Antwerp-based action research project ArmenTeKort (ArmenTooShort), developing and implementing the impact evaluation of their buddy project against poverty. Eva completed her Masters in Development Evaluation and Management at the Institute for Development Policy (IOB) of the University of Antwerp and recently combined her research at UCLL with consulting assignments on Monitoring & Evaluation in Belgium and the Global South.
Just give me a mountain
A job in Munich sparked Eva's love of the mountains. Antwerp unfortunately offers little greenery, so she takes the train every holiday to backpack from mountain hut to mountain hut in the summer or explore the snow-covered forests on cross-country skis in the winter.
